What are your guys opinions on this. Personally, I am not surprised. Although I thoroughly believe that she was responsible, or at least played a part in her death, the prosecution could not confirm how, where, or when she died. It is hard to convict someone, probably sentencing them to death, with this evidence. Still, she most likely got away with murder.

University of Tennessee's "Body farm" discovered "hair banding", a phenomenon in which hair roots can form a dark band after death. A hair found in the trunk of the Anthony car exhibited this pattern.[51] Also new is the work of University of Tennessee's Oak Ridge National Laboratory in which air extracted from the trunk of the Anthony car revealed human decomposition and the presence of chloroform.[51]

I don't get it, the above evidence pretty much proved that whether or not she killed her daughter, she had her daughter's dead body in her trunk at one point. This isn't fucking justice.

IMO the system actually worked.

I personally enjoyed watching the rookie defense attorney totally own that pompous, dumb ass, prick prosecutor and kick his fucked up tie wearing, smirking, washed up, career ruined geeky shit all over the place in the court room Very Happy

Yeah, but I didn't so much enjoy the acquittance of a woman who most likely murdered her own three year-old daughter. It was like watching OJ get off again.

The key words here are "most likely" and I don't want to start putting people to death because they "most likely" committed a murder. That's why I say that the system worked.

But you will "most likely" never hear me say that again Laughing

Oh, yeah, the one issue I had with the case was the death penalty aspect of it, as I am strictly opposed.

Even if they had FOOTAGE of Ms. Anthony killing her child, I wouldn't think that would make killing her right. Murder does not justify murder, that's fucking "eye-for-an-eye" Biblical and we should have grown past that by now.

Well if you kill a murderer, that makes you a murderer. So then someone will have to kill you. But that means someone will have to kill them....

I guess we wouldn't have to worry about over-population anymore.

Fuck that, that's the logic they'd give you in Texas. Life incarceration is still an option.
All-in-all, this woman was not a serial murderer. What she did was terrible and wrong, and she should be put away for a long time because of it, but I don't think ANYONE deserves to die, for any reason, nor is there ever justifiable cause to kill anyone.
