I'm not sure how this will go down, if it will work or take off but there is no harm in trying it. I'll be 100% honest in the game as that is the only way it will work. I have even wrote the answer down in front of me.

Here is what will happen

I have picked a random album from the top 1000 from this site. You, the members, have a total of 25 questions between you (I have no idea if that is been generous or making it too difficult, don't squander them)... not 25 each, 25 between all of you.

You can only ask one question per post and I will answer it truthly with a yes/no answer . It might be important to tell you that lol The reason for this is if you could ask anything and I answer truthly you could ask for the release date or the artist who made the album and that would make it far too easy wouldn't it?

Contrary to the above, I may give answers between yes or no if the answer isn't black or white.

There is no limit on how many of the 25 questions you can ask. However you may risk annoying the group if you be greedy and take many of them so ask at your own discretion.

Each person is given 3 guesses as to what the album might be. If your 3 guesses are wrong you are eliminated from the game, meaning you can't make another guess or win. Shame on you

I will copy and paste each question and the answer onto this post, giving you an easy reference.

We will see if there are any flaws as we go along. I can honestly say the answer is written on paper in front of me.

So lets see how it goes, ask away.

Questions:

1. Was it released in the 70's? No
2. Is the band/artist from the U.S.A.? Yes
3. Is this an album by a solo artist? No
4. Are there any females in the band? No
5. is it a 4 member band? Yes, current line up 4, 99.99% sure there has always been 4 members.
6. Have they released at least one EP? Yes
7. Does the band name start with 'M' and end with 'anic Street Preachers'? No
8. was the album released after 1990? No
9. Has the band ever broken up or went on a (longer) hiatus?
No, they have never broke... although it says on the internet they have been on hiatus before. I never knew that Shocked Sources seem genuine too.
10. Has the band released 4 or more albums? Yes
11. If you drew a line down the centre of USA, are the band from the west side of USA? Yes
12. was it released in the 80s? Yes
13. was it released in the first half of the 80s? (80-84) No
14. Does the band have more than one word in their name? (excluding 'the') No
15. Has the band always had the same 4 members in it? No
16. Did this band have several (more than one) platinum selling albums? Yes
17. Is the album in Top 100 of BEA's Overall chart? No

Great idea Very Happy Maybe you want to switch it to 20 questions, and just call it 20Q BEA version, or something along that?

As for my question:

Was it released in the 70's?

No

... and I'll keep it at 25 questions for now. Maybe it could be reduced in future. I'll see how we get by on 25 first Smile
