As hit or miss as any Deftones album is I guess. I like the band, but I've never felt satisfied by the end of any of their albums.

Oh joy. The fucking Deftones. I don't think I would say that I "hate" any specific band, but man, the Deftones comes really close to that. It boggles my mind that these guys are one of the few nu-metal bands that it's socially acceptable to like. As if branding Linkin Park as stereotypical whiney teenage angst and yet these guys are relentlessly creative that have a fresh take on the genre makes any sense whatsoever. Hell, atleast Korn is interesting. The Deftones play some of the most uninspired and emotionless music I've ever heard. They have the personality of cardboard. Writing this is actually pissing me off.
The best thing about White Pony is that it's not Diamond Eyes. That's the only thing we can take solace in for this AOTD.

I've tried the Deftones before, and this album I think... "yawn". Plain, normal, stale, some old same old, whatever... My reaction with most bands.

I like this album... I think it's the Deftones at their best. Overall I guess I would give it like a 6.5 out of 10

Saw a Deftones video where they play a concert in the middle of the dessert to no one. It was a great song though. I though it was on this album, I dont see it on the track list. White Pony is an album that I havn't been able to get. I'm only commenting because I'm surprised, and glad, to see it as album of the day.
