When we talk about music that has crossed generations now we say something like ...

"People still listen to Chuck Berry, Elvis, Led Zep, The Beatles, The Stones ..."
(Using names gathered from this thread so far)

Looking at the Best Ever Chart of today, I really wonder if next generations will say

"People still listen to Chuck Berry, Elvis, Led Zep, The Beatles, The Stones, Radiohead, Arcade Fire, Oasis ..."

Seriously the majority of kids these days would have zero idea of who Chuck Berry is. And there's no question that Radiohead will remain a as much a part of the pantheon of music as the others you mentioned.

Alright, since I can't think of 10 that have appeared in the past 20 years I'll do 4.
This is going by personal preference of course.

Nirvana
Radiohead
Bjork
Kanye West

There are 4 that I think are better.

Itsit, I asked you to name bands that were going to be touring and making music for

5 decades like the Rolling Stones have.

How in the fuck is Nirvana going to do that when they weren't even together for 1 decade Laughing

I think Kurt is going to make a comeback. You know, once Dave gets out of the Foo Fighters.
