I bought a dubstep compilation CD last year and really enjoyed a couple songs. I'm thinking of getting a proper introduction to the genre through either Skrillex's EP or the Magnetic Man album.
Open to any suggestions as to what I should listen to after those 2...so basically this thread is a long-winded way of saying: post up your favorite dubstep albums.
I believe James Blake - s/t is supposed to be dubstep, and I really enjoyed that album. I only've heard some things from Skrillex and Skream, but it really seems like a genre I can't get into.
I've youtube'd Burial before, it's good but not really what I'm looking for atm...I'm looking for less ambience and more dirty bassliness...call it brostep if u like (never heard that term before...and the guy who introduced me to dubstep is the complete opposite of a "bro")...I don't let stereotypes made against listeners of a certain genre stop me from enjoying it.
will give Burial a proper listen some time in the future though.

to everyone else: appreciate the suggestions but I'm looking for albums as opposed to tracks.

Well yes except you talked like you had only just heard about it "GUYS GUY I heard bout dis great new ting"
also I posted those tracks (you should really listen to Joker btw) because dubsteps's not really an album kinda thing (and in general people I know who are heavy into dubstep aren't album heavy people) particularly the heavy bassline stuff. So good luck with that.
