I've only heard
Robert Wyatt - Rock Bottom
Bob Marley - Natty Dread
Kraftwerk - Autobahn
John Lennon - Walls & Bridges
Seems like the worst year ever for albums! |
Neil Young - On The Beach
Tangerine Dream - Phaedra :)
ELO - Eldorado, A Symphony
Brian Eno - Here Come The Warm Jets :!:
Brian Eno - Taking Tiger Mountain (By Strategy) :!: :!: :!:
Big Star - Radio City
Roxy Music - Country Life |
1974 was a great year... Here's my favorite 5 from the year I was born :)
01. Blue Öyster Cult - Secret Treaties
02. Foghat - Energized
03. Bad Company - Bad Company
04. Deep Purple - Burn
05. Lynyrd Skynyrd - Second Helping |
Now THOSE are some great albums from 1974 :D
I would add
Man Of Miracles - STYX
Crime of the Century - Supertramp
Queen II
Sheer heart Attack - Queen
Pretzel Logic - Steely Dan
Relayer - YES
. |
1974 was a pretty sick year, especially for prog. I'd go with:
1. Genesis - The Lamb Lies Down On Broadway
2. King Crimson - Red
3. Bian Eno - Here Come The Warm Jets
4. Yes - Relayer
5. Miles Davis - Get Up With It
6. Frank Zappa - Apostrophe (')
7. Kraftwerk - Autobahn
8. Mike Oldfield - Hergest Ridge
9. Queen - Sheer Heart Attack
10. Blue Oyster Cult - Secret Treaties _________________ A dick that's bigger than the sun.

You've gotta be one of the oldest here, apart from Rfnaples. He was born in 1948.

Oh, cool...another 40-something! A CHRISTMAS GIFT FOR YOU is one of the most incredible albums ever!!! I felt kinda silly putting a Christmas album on my Top 100...but, yeah...it could easily fit into my Top 20 of all-time! _________________ Speakers of the House DJ
