Does anyone have the latest Roger Waters album?
Is anyone going to see him perform?
I follow him on twitter and everywhere he goes he sells out and causes a huge buzz!
About 6 years ago his "WALL" tour was the best performance I ever seen.
In less than 2 weeks he arrives in Toronto for 3 shows (I'm going to 1 of them).
I'm also travelling to Ottawa to watch him. In Ottawa, I'm 4 rows from center stage.
In Toronto I could only get 25 rows back.
For these jewels, I paid $500 each via ticket master. And I'm still PUMPED.

Guess what, last year I paid $700 each for 2 scalper tickets to see Adele.
It was the most I ever paid but it made my wife very very very happy and it was worth it.

Just curious, whats your top $$$ that you are willing to spend to see a show??

Two drink minimum and five bucks at the door

I'd rather spend my money on records. Concerts don't mean anything to me.

my wife likes adele, but i think we'd rather use the money ($1400??) for over 17 weeks of grocery bills.

i try not to see any artist that's too wide known just for this reason -- don't want to pay hundreds of bucks for a couple hours of standing while being shoved trying desperately to peer around the tall guys in front of me for a good glimpse (because people invariably stand up even with seats). i watch around the edges, like calexico, carly rae, mountain goats, cloud nothings, old 97s, krs-one... Now, the theater's still packed for all of those artists (except calexico), but for ~$20-$35 a ticket, not as big of a deal.

Dude, there is no reason to pay that much for a ticket. I saw Roger this year and the ticket was about 85 with convenience fees and taxes. I mean i wàsnt as close as you will be, but then again i never feel i need to. I dont think ive ever spent over 100 on the face value of a ticket, it only gets above once you add in the convenince bullshit. But if you have the financial security to afford it then thats just fine.
