So, as you may notice i'm not american.. i'm southamerican And there's an artist that got me into music, one that my dad had always listened too and so I did too. This guy, ladies and gentleman, is called Carlos Vives. I do not care what the people over here says, this is, and probably will always be, the best artist from my country.
So I just wanted your opinion, an outsider opinion, of his music. This are the 2 best songs of the best record he made, in my opinion. It's not rock, its not pop, post-punk or whatever. Is his own genre, very Colombian but I want to know if his music could reach limits it didnt wanted too. Here they are.
And please believe me, those are good lyrics even if you don't understand them.. so if you're a sucker for words, take that part as a very good one.
my mom has one of his albums... never listened to it, lol, he was wearing a ridiculously queer outfit on the album cover so never even bothered, i was almost going to throw it away but she stopped me just in time... idk just wanted to share that.
