every time I open up a new one I use a knife on the right (bumpy) side, rip off the plastic, then just straight up rip the case open with the sticker on. The sticker's much easier to take off once it's already ripped, and the prying open of the case never hurts it (so long as you have some finesse)

Myself and my wife both worked in CD and DVD stores before becoming teachers. So the art of peeling stickers has grown over many years. The imported CDs with the stickers on the top: I just peel one side then the other, not caring if it rips. Haven't had many of these over the years.

You folks have never heard of Goo Gone? It takes off sticker residue in seconds without any problem.

I used Goo Gone on O.K. Computer but it didn't work
I could still here it _________________ .
I owe $100,000 and wasted 4 years of my life.
