Nice! I forgot all about this one. A supposed return to form, but I never really got into it at the time because I was distracted by your other two faves - Trompe Le Monde & Nevermind. lol.

I'm just listening to it and whoaw: Motorhead has not done one bad album in my opinion but this is definitely one of their best (maybe just after Ace Of Spades): the guitars are even dirtier than on their other albums.

This is so true! I own like their first five or six albums, and they're all great.

Nothing to do with 1991 but I'm so enthusiastic about it I want to shout it off the rooftops: the new Ty Seagall is a classic (cf my comments on 2018 albums)

No Pocky For Kitty by Superchunk

Fuck me. Haven't heard this in years. Is this the best punk album of 1991? It has to be. Such a great record. Anyone who loves American 80s hardcore punk need to check this out. it's one of the best bridges between American Hardcore and Indie Rock.

Absolutely essential American indie rock circa '91.

====================================

I love what Butterthumbz wrote in the album comments section...

Pulsing punk positivity.

It's my favorite Superchunk album that's for sure.

I ran into this the other day, it's compilation of some New Zealand band's EP's from the 80's released in 1991. I'd never heard of them, but I figured you might want to check it out anyway.

Awesome. Sounds right up my alley. 80s Kiwi Pop is some of my favorite stuff. Will check it out. Very Happy

Speaking of which, anyone have any thoughts on this...

Fear Of God by The Bats

It's from 1991 of course. I haven't been really able to get into it despite the fact that I love The Bats 80s output. Think
