This gives me hope for the new album. Riser was great, with the exception of "Drunk On A Plane," which was throwaway arena fare. Black felt like a whole lot of "Drunk On A Plane" to me. But this tune is more what I am looking for from Dierks.
I am digging the lead-off track from Tenkiller, the debut album from Marie/Lepanto (which is Justin Peter Kinkel-Schuster from Water Liars and Will Johnson of Centro-Matic).
I just caught that song. And yeah this was fucking dope. I mean Yesterday back from 2015 was also dope. If an album was announced and had these songs as singles, I would be impressed.
