I suggest adding the Galaxie 500 album here because it seems more pop to me than Mazzy Star, maybe not more vocal-based (given all the guitar reverb) but the vocals are more "cute". Maybe I'm wrong in associating them together though.

I was somehow quite sure that Bromst was on the list or that I'd suggested it at least. Maybe I'm confusing this with your Most Upbeat Albums list.
Probably was at one point though may have been removed as I fine tuned a little bit my overly general/loose parameters for "Pop".
Fyi this list (or version of it) is outdated.
The genre lists are all collected now on their own thread (still not updated, still mid-compilation, but newer than this or any of the other separated ones, which arent intended for any further updates or use).
