Although I listen to Nickels a bit more due to its more varied and less intense nature, this is still like Sophie's choice for me.

Which one of these albums is better in your opinion?

Both are all-time favorites for me, but Nickels gets it because of my affinity for funk. It's also not nearly as serious as Zen Arcade, and, as a very non-serious person, I can relate to albums of that nature better.

Both great albums but Double Nickels has better tunes. The Husker Du album is a really important one though. I like it. But I am not likely to listen to it on a regular basis. I prefer Sugar to HD.

Wow. Wasn't expecting to be the only one to prefer Zen Arcade. It's probably because I tend to prefer cohesive records to ones that are all over the place, and I also like how heavy it is.
