I've heard a lot of people say that they don't like Money by Pink Floyd. Even that it ruins the album. This flabbergasts me, because it might be my favorite one ever. Also, I rather love Lay Lady Lay. And its multiple great cover versions by Ministry or the Isley Brothers and a shitload more. I like them all so it must be a pretty good song. But then again, my favorite Bob Dylan song is If Not For You.

I really hate D'yer Maker too. And unfortunately it's on my favorite Led Zeppelin album.

Lessons- Rush. Overall just an extremely weak point on an already lackluster side two of 2112. Reeks of filler.

Hashpipe- Weezer. I've never liked this song, the cadence of the vocals in the verse bugs the shit out of. It sounds like the verse medley to Lita Ford's Kiss Me Deadly and that's the least of its problems in my opinion.

Last Rose Of Summer- Judas Priest. Weak as fuck ballad that is by 6 miles the worst song off of an otherwise truly great Sin After Sin album. Sadly a lame earworm melody that can't help but repeat itself for the final 2 minutes of the song.

He's Back (The Man Behind The Mask)- Alice Cooper. Fuck this song.

The Angel and the Gambler- Iron Maiden. Don'tcha think I can save you? Don'tcha think I can save you? Don'tcha think I can save you? Don'tcha think I can save you? Don'tcha think I can save you? I like Money. It is the most catchy Pink Floyd song and it is still strange!

I took me some time to like Money. Eventually, I just let go and took it as it is : a sort of “boogie blues” (a bit misplaced on the album though)

Radiohead*- We suck young blood (kind of a dull death march, though the lyrics are funny)
Belle and Sebastian -nice day for a sulk (bland and too twee, even for them)
The Beta Band- The Beta Band Rap (just a silly way to kick off your debut album)
Blur- Bank Holiday (showing off that they can do hardcore punk- urgh)
The Beach Boys- Student Demonstration Time (there were many contenders but only one possible winner)

*I gave all of Pablo Honey a free pass.

Bank Holiday is super fun to me! Surprised Oï Oï Oï ! Always a bit ironic with Damon, ok. But good (not to mention when played live). And the next song on the tracklist (Badhead) comes so nicely.

Agreed (except from that lovely discreet little guitar riff)
