'60s - VU or The Beatles
'70s - Probably Bowie.
'80s - Elvis Costello
'90s - Soundgarden or Pavement

Yeah, some artists could go in more than one decade. A couple of them I had to decide which decade would fit better.

But I must say that I don't find the music from Canada or England particularly bad or of a worst quality than anywhere else.
