90s - autechre - aphex twin - bjork

2000s - autechre - aphex twin - radiohead - bjork - sigur ros - boards of canada - burial

2010s see 2000s

60s - pink floyd - and assorted jazz artists

70s - probably some musique concrete person and assorted jazz artists

80s - the cure - metallica - pixies - sepultura - and i don't know

I left out ambient artists because my brain isn't working well right now and most people don't know who they are.

1960s = the beatles
1970s = genesis
1980s = prince
1990s = pearl jam
2000s = radiohead / thom yorke
2010s = hot chip (so far, with the national, arcade fire, kanye and weezer within striking distance)
