1990s: Radiohead
1980s: The Smiths

1950s: Miles Davis

Just wondering why you have Beatles for the eighties. I'm not questioning you, I'm just curious why.

I was totally kidding. Also no Radiohead in the 80s and Beatles still had their hold on us - solo work and their "legacy". Kidding aside, I feel the 80s had major reflections back to early rock n' roll and then Beatles era music.

Wow, this is a tough one.

1950s: Probably Johnny Cash or Ray Charles.
1960s: The Beatles, all the way.
1970s: David Bowie.
1980s: Probably Prince.
1990s: Björk, I think.
2000s: Animal Collective.
2010s: Kendrick Lamar.

1960's - The Beatles/Dylan
1970's - Queen/Bowie
1980's - Dire Straits/Springsteen
1990's - Radiohead
2000's - Radiohead/The Killers
2010's - Arctic Monkeys/The War On Drugs

2 for each decade, couldn't settle on one.
