I'm sure most have heard by now but I just wanted to take a moment because it's very important to me.

I can't begin to explain how devastating this is. I wanted to be an Astronaut when I was a kid and even though there were other nauts (Gagarin and Glenn were important to me too) Armstrong was THE astronaut. The minute you hear the word 'Astronaut' he's the one you think of. A true and absolute 20th Century Icon. I haven't been this affected by a celebrity death...in...maybe ever. By all accounts a great man.
