While I originally expected a lot of the year's top albums would automatically be included in the tournament, participation has been so phenomenal that no albums automatically made it into the bracket. This left the four highest ranked albums of 2017 (and many other highly ranked albums) with no path to tournament victory. Which of these five is your favorite tournament snub?
If we do this tournament again next year, I'm thinking about reserving one slot in the bracket for the winner of a poll like this between all the top-ranked snubs.

Voted for Flower Boy. I think I have DAMN and American Dream ranked higher on my chart but they shouldn't be, Flower Boy is the one I've listened too the most. Just a beautiful album that's a great mix of soul and rap.

Yeah, Flower Boy should have probably been my answer. I'll probably come back to that album more often than The Underside of Power.

And I'm the opposite. I couldn't get into Flower Boy... listened to it twice. I think we've already had this chat about this album, and somehow it just doesn't click for me. More power to those who dig it I suppose.
The Underside of Power on the other hand will definitely have a role in my rotation as it already has a song rotated through my top 2010s and 2017 playlists.
