Best track on the album is *Here. The others are okay - not my favorite from Pavement. Crooked Rain, Crooked Rain and Brighten the Corners would be tops for me. _________________ <(: @ >

Pixies>>>>>>>>>Arcade Fire>>>>>>>>>>>The Smiths >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>The Strokes
(I don't know iof I've expressed enough how large the gaps between them are )
Also if your best album is amazing enough it's all you need...(also both MBV's and NMH's first albums are amazing on thier own. WOuldn't you agree Hayden? ) |
Not a Strokes fan? Didn't know that.
And Isn't Anything is an ok album, nothing amazing, but still a nice listen.
And we all know my opinions on Avery Island

Isn't Anything is amazing. Although its an 80's work. And on avery island is exellent, 3 peaches is one of my favourite songs. I think jhereko says he dislikes the strokes so much because of how derivative they are, which i agree with, although i still like them. Not really a chart entry

Whoaah! You like Pavement? You surprise me sometimes, Gary. I would think they would be the type of band you would hate.

My outlook on newer and or different genres of music has changed a bit in the last 9 months.
I was in my cave listening to the White album for the 1,000th. time and I decided to pop my head out and see what else was going on.

Im really glad it came out as Album of the Day! Slanted and Enchanted is one of my favorite albums. I still can't decide between it and Crooked Rain.
My favorite song must be Trigger Cut. I also dig Summer Babe, Zurich is Stained, In the Mouth a Desert, Perfume-V...
