To answer your question directly, my last piece I posted is the only thing I'd really search out to purposely listen to from Joaquín Rodrigo, but did enjoy some lute music from the early music period. If you are open to that, there's millions of choices there.
my favorite, though strictly speaking, it's not a classical guitar.... rather quite related Ronroco by Gustavo Santaolalla _________________ follow me on the bandcamp.
It's not particularly original to say so, but my favorite piece remains Rodrigo's Concierto de Aranjuez. I am a big fan of the guitar quintets of Luigi Boccherini. I also enjoy Tarrega, Sor, and Albeniz.
My favorite player is Christopher Parkening, although I also love Segovia, Pepe Romero, (the other) John Williams, Kazuhito Yamashita, Sharon Isbin, and of course, Julian Bream. And laugh if you may, but most people have no idea that the cootchie cootchie girl, Charo, plays a mean classical guitar herself (she studied under Segovia).
I thinl Fischman pretty much nailed it, but if you like classical guitar, you should also check out some of the flamenco guitarists such as Paco de Lucia or Vicente Amigo. I think you'd really enjoy.
