I got really into this album last year. An obvious nod to Van Morrison with the inclusion of Swert Thing, and similarly aims to fuse more folk elements into the music.

There’s also the Fisherman’s Box that’s well worth a listen. Some outstanding longer cuts, and gives a lot of insight into the development of the album.

I saw them live this year and Mike Scott didn't play Fisherman's Blues. I was gutted. I thought he was saving it for an encore but he did a version of Purple Rain instead as a tribute to Prince. It was excellent and epic but I really wanted to hear Fisherman's Blues live too. So I was disappointed. I'll have to make do with Youtube. It was a good gig apart from that. He's a good raconteur as well.
