Not previously familiar with this one so just checked it out.
Based on just one listen, it's a bit of a mixed bag for me.
I do like the music, which seems to wash over the listener like alternatingly gentle and just slightly disruptive waves.
But there does seem to be a bit of sameness throughout most of the album, possibly influenced by my lack of appreciation for the rather thin timbre of the primary vocalist. This is one I would like more with more of the female vocals leading.
I probably need a few more listens before making any kind of a stronger assessment.

Don't listen to any of Lydia's other material then. Except for maybe This December, It's Once More And I'm Free, but it's different backing female vocals and that one's harder to find. Mindy White is the female vocalist on Illuminate, and she left Lydia after this album.
I enjoy their next two releases (Assailants EP and Paint It Golden, the latter of which took me a bit to get into) but then they became mostly Leighton (the male vocalist) and his voice seems to get weaker on each release.

Thanks. I appreciate the additional insight.
