With the electronic tourney coming to a close within about a week or ago, it's time to get the nominations going for the next one. I was thinking we should do a 64 album movie soundtrack tournament. If the majority want to include video game or tv shows, that's cool but I was hoping we could just stick to movies to keep everything on level ground. Also, let's take turns and only name two at a time until everybody has a change. Purple did a great job controlling the nominations so I'll try to do the same.

I'll start off my naming my first two albums.

Clint Mansell - Moon (Soundtrack from the Motion Picture)
Various Artists - Reality Bites

great idea for a tourney. I love soundtrack albums Very Happy

Once Upon a Time in the West - Ennio Morricone
Soundtrack from Twin Peaks - Angelo Badalamenti

(If the Twin Peaks album doesn't count, my second pick would be Trainspotting: Music from the Motion Picture - Various Artists)

Pulp Fiction (Various Artists)

Donnie Darko (if it is possible, I would enter the two disc version, with both the score by Michael Andrews and songs by Various Artists.. If it is a stretch, then I nominate only Michael Andrews' OST ie just the score)

Also, I would really like to see Twin Peaks in the tournament

So do the songs for the movie have to be specifically made for the movie or are we including soundtracks that are just some songs already made and happen to be played during the movie Think

Thanks for including the one I would have picked first, Clint Mansell's Moon!

I'll nominate

The Wicker Man (1973) Original Soundtrack
Trainspotting (1996)
