Allright now the matchup I want to see, always narcissistically looked to Revolver as a young sort-of protege.. even though we actually have quite different charts and only very rarely talk about music one-on-one. Huh. Oh well great guy
Yeah again with the King Princess this seems to be a theme of perhaps the somewhat more conventional favorite getting the nod over some more interesting numbers, as I just can't shake the Deja Vu I get with the track, a good case of a strong but somewhat indistinct set of soulful vocals. And I just happen to love the big, sweeping pop scope & weird kitschy bubblegum-british (don't @ me) bravado of "Falling Into Me", goes in a million directions but all comes together for a beautiful little explosion for it's coda, love the track like many off I'm All Ears
I did not expect it, but I like this King Princess song. That said, Falling Into Me is a big opponent that only few songs can stop in this tournament. Let Eat Grandma win this duel relatively easily for me.
I'm surprised I'm voting this way, but King Princess has the better pop song. Grandma has the better music... and I voted for the pop song. I have no interest in listening to the oxford comma band again (not cause it's bad, it just didn't peak my interest).
Yeah, both are good for me. The first is a sweet track but probably done better before.
I went with the Brits. Very cool soundscape indeed (although yes, I'm not sure if there is so much to the song- it was still impressive overall though).
