That's a bit weird. I'm certainly not seeing logouts every eight seconds - which part of the site was that on? I use a laptop (and an iPad sometimes) which seem to work fine (but almost always via wi-fi). I'll check into further what might be causing this issue.

Each time I went to a different page it logged me out. Luckily I only had to log in twice to post this time around.

Not sure why you'd be getting logged out so often (especially on the forums). I'll continue to look into.

I've been using this site for years, and have always had the "remember me" part checked and never had issues until recently, like maybe 2 weeks now, whatever has changed you need to undo it.

Thanks for extra info. Hopefully have a fix within a day or so and sorry for the inconvenience in the meantime.
EDIT: Added some diagnostics in the background and actively monitoring to try and identify problem.
EDIT: Identified a possible issue for users with frequently changing IP addresses. Currently working on a resolution.

No Idea if you've secretly pushed out a fix yet, but just wanting to let you know this is still an issue, I still have to log in multiple times a day...

Thanks, have changed a couple of background settings which should make this issue happen less often, and will push another change live over the next few days which should fix things for good.

Can I ask what the issue is? What has changed (what I assume) with "Cookies" in the past month that has causes this issue, is everyone affected or just a few, is it browser specific, etc.

The issue seems to be occurring where some users have an IP address that completely changes in-between page loads. IP address checks in the background help to secure your session and add an extra layer of security (helps stop anybody else sharing the same session). Nothing has changed recently in the code, it's just an issue that has now been highlighted/identified for some reason (certain ISPs may have changed the way they allocate IP addresses). I'm working on a fix that obviously doesn't compromise security.

I find it odd that nothing has changed in this sites code recently, it definitely isn't an ISP issue/change because while my IP is dynamic and always has been, I don't have any of these issues with the other 30+ or so saved sites/cookies I frequent, literally just BEA keeps logging me out, also many other users all started getting the same issue around the same time so unless we all share the same ISP... but hopefully you will get this fixed because it's very very  .
