Ive selected "superior" and "additional" alternatives for each of them based on my opinion, ratings and rankings.

To be selected, these must share at least one prominent/thorough expressive similarity with each other or more.

The asterisks to the right of the selections indicate the approximate degree of similarity between the acclaimedmusic entry and my "superior" or "additional" selections. 1 asterisk is the least similar that still qualifies for selection; 4 asterisks is the most similar one is likely to get (without being the same album!).

Superior selections must be rated or ranked higher
(on my own lists) than the acclaimedmusic entry (which Ive also rated).

Additional selections are those rated/ranked lower than the acclaimedmusic entry that I still highly recommend. These selections must rate 6.8 or above on my own list(s).

RECOMMENDATIONS / DISCUSSION WELCOME. These selections can require a lot of thought and revisits to remember and come up with so any help, recommendations, discussion, is appreciated -- even "obvious" ones are helpful.

Note: Very difficult to think of whole albums that are similar enough to VU & Nico because (a) this album is such a unique collection of talent and staggering artistic vision/expression that it is virtually inimitable, and; (b) several of the songs on their own each inspired whole genres or whole sub-genres, which albums thereafter tended to be wholly or mostly centered around. Therefore there are countless albums that borrow from 1-2 songs of VU & Nico but very few that borrow from more than that or a majority of it all at once.
