I had never heard anything by The Walkmen, and this is a great introduction.

American Boy has been growing off me. Estelle and Kanye are great, and so is much of the production. But the annoyingly sharp synth stabs that come in for the first time around 0:31 and recur throughout the song are a very big downside. Leave it to will.i.am I guess. The mixing could also use improvement.

So, The Rat it is.
