Favourite Instrumentals... go!
Note: It is up to you discretion of what an instrumental is, however I would be okay including something like The Dead Flags Blues etc as it is just a spoken word introduction
1 Hell's Angel Cracker Factory - The Flaming Lips
2 Providence - Godspeed You! Black Emperor
3 Interstellar Overdrive - Pink Floyd
4 Spare Chaynge- Jefferson Airplane
5 Blue Train - John Coltrane
6 Speed Of Life - David Bowie
7 So What - Miles Davis
8 Mood Indigo - Duke Ellington
9 Shine On You Crazy Diamond - Pink Floyd
10 Peaches En Regalia - Frank Zappa

...Definitely not an instrumental, sorry Pam.

Hmm... interesting that you include jazz in yours; I don't know if I can do that because my heads would explode. So these are my top rock instrumentals (in no particular order...yet). Oh this is well hard for me as I am a very lyric-orientated person. As I really struggle to do without words altogether, I am including songs with sampled lyrics of 15 words or less.
Voodoo People - The Prodigy
Blue Rondo A La Turk - Dave Brubeck Quartet
Come Home - The Chemical Brothers
Perpetual Dawn - The Orb
Deep Burnt - Gilles Peterson
Push the Feeling on - Nightcrawler
Bye Bye Blackbird - Miles Davis
His Majesty King Raam - Lemonjelly (ok this is a 'couple' more than 15 words but it is essentially an instrumental track)
C'est Le Vent, Betty - Gabriel Yared
Soul Limbo - Booker T & The MGs
Wild Cats of Kilkenny - The Pogues
God is a DJ - Faithless (ok this is a 'couple' more than 15 words but it is essentially an instrumental dance track)
Oscillate Wildly - The Smiths
So Easy - Royksopp
I can't get started - Dizzy Gillespie
Spastic Sister - Huge Baby
