Even with the most emphatically different tastes from my own, this is an interesting chart for its unusual combination of genres and more particularly of artists.

There is nothing I have seen praised unusually by any “major” critic I have read over many years – even George Starotsin’s writings on Gentle Giant are not that lavish in their praise, nor was Mark Prindle’s old writings on the New Pornographers. Nevertheless, I can give bonuses for the number of unknown artists from more modern times.
