Same problem for some other users.
LittleM1971 shows 4,046 ratings and only has 4,042.
StefanR10 correctly shows 147.
Hayden shows 4,576 ratings and only has 4,561.
babyBlueSedan correctly shows 2,573.
CryingGameDahlin correctly shows 4,646.
Repo correctly shows 1,335.
LosWochos shows 22,284 and only has 22,227. _________________ Can you play free, or in three, or agree to try something new?

I've toggled "Add albums as listened when they are rated" to yes in my settings, and I've clicked the "Add all rated as listened" hyperlink underneath (which I didn't notice last night when I first checked my settings). Unfortunately, this didn't work. When I click submit from my settings, I get a page full of warning messages saying things like "the /e modifier is no longer supported" and "cannot modify header information". Doesn't matter if I change any settings before I click submit, I get the same error messages, both from my phone and my laptop. |
Apologies, didn't realise this was happening. I'll check into why this is happening.
Jameth wrote: | I figured out the problem. There's a bug that's causing the wrong number of ratings to display at the bottom of my ratings list. It shows "Total ratings: 1,700", but I only have 1,699 ratings. I went to the last page of my unfiltered ratings and there's only nine albums on that page. *shrug* |
The 1,700 figure includes a rating for a deleted album, and this was being incorrectly included in the total (I'll create a fix which will filter these out). The same issue is occurring for the other user's you've listed. Thanks for doing the research on this (helps a lot).

Thanks for the clarification. It does raise another concern for me...figuring out what was deleted. Especially if it was something I added to the database and/or something I cared about. I'm guessing there's not, but is there a log kept for deleted items? _________________ Can you play free, or in three, or agree to try something new?

Yes, there's a log of deleted albums, artists etc. The site should probably find room to display them somewhere as agree would be useful, but not sure where they could go. Perhaps an extra filter on admin pages to display deleted items.
