I'll just copy Seth's method to start. Here's what last.fm says I've listened to most in the past year:

Top 20
1. Fireworks by Stina Nordenstam
2. In the Aeroplane Over the Sea by Neutral Milk Hotel
3. Some People Say by Allo Darlin'
4. The King of Carrot Flowers, Pts. Two & Three by Neutral Milk Hotel
5. (tie) Lover, You Should've Come Over by Jeff Buckley
5. (tie) Holland, 1945 by Neutral Milk Hotel
5. (tie) The Sorcerer's Apprentice by Paul Dukas
8. (tie) Oh Comely by Neutral Milk Hotel
8. (tie) Inside Out by Spoon
10. (tie) Piano Concerto No. 2, Allegro, Opus 102 by Dmitri Shostakovich
10. (tie) Hallelujah by Jeff Buckley
10. (tie) Symphony No. 6: II Andante molto mosso by Ludwig van Beethoven
10. (tie) The King of Carrot Flowers, Pt. One by Neutral Milk Hotel
10. (tie) Two-Headed Boy by Neutral Milk Hotel
10. (tie) So This Is Goodbye by Stina Nordenstam
16. (tie) Angela by Allo Darlin'
16. (tie) Symphony No. 6: I Allegro ma non troppo by Ludwig van Beethoven
16. (tie) Two-Headed Boy, Pt. Two by Neutral Milk Hotel
16. (tie) Things Behind the Sun by Nick Drake
16. (tie) Little Star by Stina Nordenstam

But the post says "songs you most often have on repeat", and most of these I don't listen to again and again on repeat. That's something I don't do much with music. I generally prefer variety in my listening, not the same thing over and over.

However, in recent memory, there are three songs that I've occasionally had the urge to listen to repeatedly, and they are:

Fireworks by Stina Nordenstam
It's Only Life by the Shins
The Purple Bottle by Animal Collective

But I think the overall winner, if we take my whole lifetime into account, is the song Brain Stew by Green Day. When I was young, I had my cousin record that song (and that song only) on repeat, onto both sides of a cassette tape for me, and I listened to nothing but that one song for days, or even weeks, on end. Fun times.

If I copy the most listened tracks on iTunes (from my iPOD) I get the following (keeping 1 track per artist):

Love of Lesbian - El Poeta Halley
The Corrs, Bono - When the stars go blue
Manolo García - Pájaros de Barro
Mark Knopfler - Postcards from Paraguay
Archive - Chaos
Arctic Monkeys - 505
Muse - Break it to me (¿?)
Alan Walker - Faded
Toundra - Bizancio Byznatium
Elliott Murphy - Absalom, Davy and Jacky O

This does not count the songs I listen to on youtube. The top one has 9 listens, I guess in the last year or two, so, as you can see, I don't like to spin a song too many times.
