A tough call here. I really enjoyed both albums. Little Electric Chicken Heart was quite an exciting, full of life album, but Charlene Darling felt like an album whose touch of experimentalism intrigued me, and I feel like it could be a grower with more listens, just giving it the edge in this match-up.

I love MPB, and Little Electric Chicken Heart is a fresh and well-made take on the genre. It sounded just as great on the second listen. Saint-Guidon indeed felt like it had a wider stylistic range, but the execution was not on the same level and I didn't enjoy it as much. Vote to Ana Frango Elétrico.

Probably the perfect match up that could be seeded. I liked both, but Ana Frango Eletrico's effort was a bit better per my perspective.

A really interesting matchup. That said, Charlène Darling is my favourite find of the tourney thus far. Giving me 'The Murder Mystery' meets Mazzy Star meets Marissa Nadler vibes. 'La peau bleutée' almost sounds like recent Earth, even. Good fucking shit.
