- Post subject: Australian Albums Tournament: Schedule & Discussion
|
So the list (after some time) has been made. I created a spreadsheet a while back for the tournament to make it like a tennis knockout tournament. So there are two sides to the table and the matchups were selected randomly. This means that some matchups earlier on will be difficult for some albums but hopefully this should be a bit of fun.
4 matchups will be up for 3 days (give or take) and I will try to keep this as clear as possible to follow.

I think you should wait for the Soundtrack tournament to be over. Or at the very least until finals or last 4. It will be very confusing if you start now

That's what I was thinking but I don't know if it would be too confusing.
Thoughts by others?

I have previously asked Shane (who is running the Soundtrack tournament) and he doesn't have a problem with it. With this in mind, I may start it tomorrow or Wednesday. See how teaching affects it all!

I could start now, no problem.
Just make sure you have "Australian album competition" or something like that in the titles. _________________ Submit Your List for BEA's 2023 Film Poll!

I'm not exactly moving at light speed, so I would have no complaints to you starting whenever.
Everybody would just have vote for 6 things in the matter of 2-3 whole days, and maybe make a few comments. Shouldn't be too hard for this crowd.

Pretty sure most of us are big enough and ugly enough to handle it (and those who aren't get left behind!)
