I was leaving this open in the hope that more of the usual suspects would trickle in, and even though brun just put us over the top I'm going to leave this open until about 6PM Central time tonight (so about 10 hours from now). Hopefully we don't end up getting like 30 new songs because of that... I'll throw the bracket together tonight and get the first play-in matches going tomorrow morning. I plan to leave matches up for about 4 days and have 6-8 matches going at once, maybe staggering them by two days. Every match thread will say when it closes.
Also, sorry travelful but it looks like we won't need your pick. But you did jump the gun before I actually declared sudden death lightning round nominations anyway

so... I just realized that like about half of the songs in this tournament are 5+ minute tracks. Nothing wrong with that, but do you feel like that's more because of the people who chose the tracks or representative of the music of this time period? (My guess is more the people choosing, but interesting nonetheless).
