Thanks for reporting and apologies for the problem. I wasn't aware that rogue ads are somehow entering the stack. I'll push this back to the site's ad provider.
It just happened to me, too. It's some McAfee protection link. I was on the Foxy Shazam page. _________________ Do it yourself and let me play my music: https://www.besteveralbums.com/thechart.php?c=61802
Just happened for me. "Norton antivirus." It redirected numerous times so I couldn't get the original url, but I landed at incursobfx.com. _________________ Add me on RYM
This reminds me of when ad blocker got blocked on Forbes.com... next day they got infected bad with drive-by-downloads in their adds and everyone that visited that day got some kind of security vulnerability.
These last days I think there were attempts to redirect me to spam sites (via Safari) but all I got were strange things happening on the site itself (rectangular shapes opening aso). It was much better in Google Chrome.
Today it's nearly impossible to even get on the site (via different browsers) and if I can it is nearly impossible to do a search on an album or artist.
Apologies for the problems, there is a fairly major issue going on in the background which I'm trying to resolve (a database issue). A side-effect of trying to fix this has been the performance issues over the past couple of days. Trying my best to sort this out and the problem has been escalated to BEA's web host so hopefully get to the bottom of it shortly.
