Excellent album! My favourites are "Alison", "Machine Gun", "Souvlaki Space Station", "When The Sun Hits", and "Dagger". I know that's probably a bit cliche, especially considering that these are the 5 highest rated Slowdive tracks here on BEA, but that's the way it is.

You know I also prefer Pygmalion but this album has a giant place in my heart. Learned how to play around with pedals by practicing along to this album for days. This was also the first shoegaze record I ever listened to. Not a big fan of Just For A Day though. Some killer singles does not save that one from absolutely feeling like the day before the album Neil wrote half the tracks after he told the engineer he had a full album of material.
