This is the chart of someone with a solid knowledge of rock music history but it needs a little more personality. it also needs more Joy Division.

Anybody else feel like they could have predicted much of this list?

Oh, and incidentally, it doesn't have a single track from Revolver, RFNAPLES' (supposedly) fave album!

Looking at this chart, and the songs selected, I can't help but think that the selections were made on the basis of what is "supposed" to be picked and not personal preference. I'm probably wrong, and I apologise to RFNaples if I am.

Davey, we've been saying this for a long time. And Naples has also denied it for a long time. And, unfortunately, he keeps coming up with lists like that "song list" which looks like it was made to prove that what you're saying is true. It's weird, really.

The greatness of an album is not merely the sum of its tracks. How much correlation should there be between the best tracks and the greatest albums? I don't find my lists incongruent.

I see........I was just saying.......because I thought that Revolver has a great track (read: Tomorrow Never Knows) which could have easily made your list.......it's my fave song, by the way. Oh, and did you see my Top 15 Songs list in the top 15 song thread?

One question: What is your opinion of Natty Dread, my fave Bob Marley album, and the album which apparently has your fave Bob Marley song?
