Gonna have to relisten to the 1993 albums again, though 'Come Clean' might be my favourite ever Primo beat, but kokkinos' 2004 team reminds me so heavily and so thoroughly of bus journeys to and from school that I'm gonna have a real hard time voting against it due to the sheer nostalgia factor, not to mention the quality of the picks. It's some of the greatest UK rap of all-time. I think if you'd asked me as a 14 year old who my favourite rapper was, I'd have said Klashnekoff. Plus, those singles choices are just off the fucking charts. 'Wot Do U Call It?'!!!!!! Amazing team.

Since the obvious unifying theme of my picks is the UK, I have to give an honorable mention to Skinnyman-Council Estate of Mind. Give it a listen when you have the time, he almost made the cut, but the rest was too special to be omitted.
I'll come back with more comments, but first I wanna give some time for everyone to listen with a fresh pair of ears (is that even a phrase?).

Funnily enough, I prefer that album to either of those you chose. The soundtrack to many a night of teenage skunk smoking that still holds up today. He's a really passionate rapper, and his thoughts on society rarely devolve into cliché. Great choices, regardless.

At first I thought the #2 at the end and the 2016 release meant it wasn't the right album, but then the tracks line up... is this like a remaster/remake or?

IDK 'cause there's not a physical reissue but copyright dates on Spotify should never be taken as release dates

Yeah I suppose I mispoke... just the date in spotify I suppose is what I should've said. I realize Spotify puts whatever year they feel like there/the label tells them something new every 5 minutes. I would loathe that job. "You know, this quarter we think more listeners will click on a song because it says remastered next to the title in parenthesis instead of "-Remastered", our focus group told us. But I'm sure next quarter we'll change it back."

@kokkinos... maybe you can confirm since you nominated it? Can't find anything else on the Spotify; my unfortunate choice at the moment.

I am at work at the moment so I can't listen to it to confirm, but I can see it is exactly the same tracks in exactly the same order with exactly the same duration for each of them, so I would safely assume it is indeed the same album. In any case, I will confirm 100% in the evening.

The Spotify version listed as a 2016 release is the correct album.
