Post subject: Upcoming release by Tool
Tool is expected to drop their new album in May next year. Lots of interesting questions will be anwsered such as:
- Will Tool set a new standard for how many minutes of music it's possible to fit into only one CD?
- Will it be released on iTunes?
- Which integer sequence will Danny Carey create a drum beat to?
- Will Adam Jones tune his guitar in drop d?
- Will they ever be able to release such a good song as "Intermission," or have Tool already reached their peak?
- Is Maynard James Keenan too busy as a winegrower to write deep and mysterious lyrics about his mother and hookers with penises?
- And when it's released we can start speculating: will this be the longest gap between a Tool album?
Yup, I'm excited as hell. Rumours also tell that they have a new song out already: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=68C0yx_bXao

I'm not sure if you like Tool or not
I certainly do and have Lateralus on my chart
Of course a new Tool album would be good.
That's the only kind they know how 2 make. _________________ .

Will it be unbelievably pretentious and give Symphony X a run for their money"
I hope not, though I'll probably be proven wrong.
Sorry, guys, but after listening to Lateralus once, I like Tool about as much as Pitchfork does.

I dunno, man, it's pretty hard to do Fibonacci sequences while being constantly drunk.
Though I'm going to try and give Tool another chance. I'm downloading Aenima right now.

Good question. I'm also wondering which background colour the artwork will have - black maybe?

Dude, smoke a fat ass blunt and then listen to Schism as loud as you can get it.
(Or not )
Then please come back and tell me what you think about it afterwards

Yeah I don't think OP's a fan
Well whatever I'm excited, I always loved Tool, even if I only consider Aenima to be a "great" album (though others are all at least "OK" or better)
Also, I sure as hell hope it's not P4k's fault that so many people dislike Tool
