Years ago, I made a forum about my hobby of making my own versions of unreleased or unfinished albums or creating imaginary projects, and I kinda wanted to return to that. I have been playing around with my "what if the Beatles didn't break up?" albums and I wanted to post them here.

THE CONCERT FOR BANGLA DESH - 1971

Gonna leave this space here for the imaginary concert album, making use of the original George album, John's Live in New York stuff, and some of Paul's Wings Across America. Still a work in progress, which would also require some editing.

SINGLES:
Bangla Desh b/w Happy X-mas (War Is Over) [double A]

LIVING IN THE MATERIAL WORLD - 1972
This one comes with a story, and two different versions. The story is the group wanted to take wildly different directions and the sessions got chaotic and Allen Klein went ahead a tracklisted and released the album much to the chagrin of the band, which lead to it getting harsh reviews and controversy. So much so, that the album was recalled and retracked, to meet the groups liking, though not to music critics liking. The last version is the "official" version that would appear on future CD and digital releases, while the left off songs would end up as Past Masters tracks.

VERSION 1

1. Back Off Boogaloo
2. Bip Bop
3. John Sinclair

Side 1
1. Back Off Boogaloo

OLDIES BUT MOLDIES - 1976
The last Beatles album of the 70s until John goes into his househusband phase. It is a last minute album created as part of the lawsuit with Morris Levy. Sessions were carried out solo by Lennon since 73. When Levy took the recording and made the album Roots, John and Apple sued with an injunction and decided to put out their album of covers, this time with all the members of the Beatles. The other members, like Paul and George, were not pleased to be doing a covers album. Paul only recorded one track and gave two other previously recorded tracks from past album sessions (both featuring his wife Linda and Beatles session musician Denny Laine which would eventually lead him to form the band Wings). John was eventually preparing to become a dad. By the end of the sessions, only Ringo was really partipating. Apple eventually folded into EMI at the end of 75 and Oldies But Moldies came out the next year as a "budget label" album. Nothing would comes from the Beatles for the next 4 years.

Side 1
1. Be-Bop-A-Lula
2. Hey Baby
3. Stand by Me
4. Bye Bye Love
5. Tragedy
6. You Can't Catch Me

Side 2
7. Baby Face
8. Only You (and You Alone)
9. True Love
10. Ya Ya
11. Love Is Strange
12. Just Because

NOTES:
Only You would be an edit made to be a duet between Ringo and John.

SINGLES:
(released back in 1975) Stand by Me b/w This Guitar (Can't Keep from Crying)

SKYWRITING BY WORD OF MOUTH - 1980
The band is all energized and comes back into the studio for a comeback album, unaware that it would tragically be the last Beatles album.

Side 1
1. (Just Like) Starting Over
2. Wanderlust
3. Wrack My Brain
4. Cleanup Time
5. Dream Away
6. The Pound Is Sinking
7. Watching the Wheels

Side 2
8. Tug of War
9. Nobody Told Me
10. Life Itself
11. Ballroom Dancing
12. Tears of the World
13. Beautiful Boy (Darling Boy)

NOTES:
The Double Fantasy songs are all the stripped versions. Although the beginning of Starting Over and Beautiful Boy would have the same bell opening as the album versions. The single version of Starting Over is the original album version.
The last note of Dream Away cuts immediately into the coin noises from The Pound Is Sinking.

SINGLES:
(Just Like) Starting Over b/w Take It Away

---
1981
All Those Years Ago b/w Grow Old with Me
As a memorial for their fallen band member, the three remaining Beatles record a tribute song, and it is b-sided with a home recording of Lennon tracked with a George Martin score. A fitting end.
