My own Top 100 chart has Ram at #16 and no Beatles until #49, but it's nowhere near as diverse as this chart of course. I should probably re-do the whole thing, now that I think of it...

I actually thought the Lynyrd Skynyrd album was more incongruous, but the Southern Boogie Era did affect a lot of people, rather profoundly in some cases. The fact that there's almost no Glam Rock on this chart may also be suggestive — I wouldn't be surprised to learn that BoxFL and I are the same age, but (unlike me) maybe he didn't have an older sister.
