Look who's sporting a mustache now? Hadn't heard a Placebo track in years, it frankly could have gone on for a bit. Vote for Girlkind, which I didn't really love by wasn't Placebo at least.

Not big on Placebo. That Girlkind track was solid and I voted for that

for some reason I was under the impression Placebo had stopped being a thing ages ago. And to be honest I'm more than happy to return to that false assumption.

Sinead O'Brien is one of my favorite discoveries of the tourney so far, love how she keeps swaying in and out of spoken word/singing, the band is tight as hell too. Good stuff, gets lowkey funky at the 2:30 mark. Think I'm gonna find this stuck in my head over the coming days

Yeah, Placebo in 2023 seems a bit too much, gotta go with Sinead O'brien.

Yeah the 90s vibe on Girlkind knocked me out on first listen, excellent ivy-cross of aggressive spoken word and whipping alt-rock riffs. Ironically the very late 90s band themselves Placebo I guess are doing some sort of full-blown progressive electronic art pop? or sth. Was a huge fan at 14, but the choice is pretty easy here.
