A new addition to my list is World War III — caught it last weekend. Fantastic choices for the Orizzonti at Venice. Should have landed main competition.
Surprised how many films I wanted to get around to still aren't quite available. Hoping to see Return To Seoul, The Eight Mountains, Tchaikovsky’s Wife, War Pony, Burning Days, The Worst Ones, and the (coincidentally similarly titled) RMN & Rimini. I'm assuming Showing Up just... isn't coming out any time soon for some reason.
Also watched Smoking Causes Coughing and No Bears, but I don't think either will make my final list. Unique works though— always refreshing to watch something different.

Yeah, I saw World War III at the Siskel's Festival of Films From Iran this past February in a double feature with Godard's on-screen finale See You Friday Robinson, and I loved them both <3
Also, umm.... we're all listening to "Always Be My Baby" by Mariah Carey this weekend, huh?

Thanks Andrew—
Tallied
Tight list so far, and surprisingly less overlap than I predicted. Hoping for a few more submissions in the upcoming weeks.

Thanks EyeKanFly, tallied — out of everything, the music/score list is turning out to be quite the race. Not to be spoiler-y, but you're actually the first person to put Wendell & Wild on their list. Although it (just) missed mine, I feel it's going to go down as one of the more underappreciated films of the year. Not sure why reviews were so mixed— it's got some great stuff.
I got around to Return To Seoul last night. Not sure if it'll be landing my chart, but it was still a good film. Still have these on my watchlist for the year, hoping to get around to all of them—
Rodeo
The Blue Caftan
The Eight Mountains
and maybe Burning Days, but it doesn't seem to be available anywhere yet (???)
Anywho— 8 days left We're stickin' to schedule. (Which means I have to start whipping up a banner for our 70s list...)
