I just listened to Queensryche's Operation: Mindcrime, and while I was quite dissapointed with it, I was reminded of their MTV Unplugged session. Probably my favourite Unplugged session of those I've heard. Especially if you compare these performances with the studio versions.

I mean listen to the album version of The Killing Words, and then listen to this:

Very difficult to get on DVD great film Directed by Nic Roeg Glastonbury Fayre 1971 DVD The Entire film is great.

Referring to my post? If so, check out the solo album "Rain Machine" which the song is from, its one of the most overlooked albums of the last few years, probably because it at first seems to be a messily written side project. In reality its a collection of folk pop songs with some jazzy over tones built to showcase Kyp's almost freeform vocal performances. There is some creative percussion and loose polyphonic instrumental sections which I really love.
