It bothers me a lot that the first release of this album has remixes as part of the main album. I know they've released a version with a definitive tracklist on it, but the cheapest I've been able to find it is like $25. I like the album, but not quite that much.
Nit-picky OCD triggers aside, this is a damn good album. Not a single weak track.

Great album, always enjoy it more than I think I will.
Still I much prefer Yoshimi, feels so much more complete, and only feels a little less musically intricate.
It's hard to talk about this album without bringing up how it was released about three different times with different songs and remixes. The European copy had a song that the USA copy didn't, but they also had a song Europe didn't - like it was some kind of Pokemon game.
Really takes away from the experience knowing that there's no one 'true' version of the album.
5.1 is what I own, but still kinda just feels like an advertisement for Dolby Surround Sound.

I think you'll find the almighty Jhereko prefers this album to me. But it's still amazing. The 5.1 version is definitive, by the way.

I am not usually one for "hating" on albums as I enjoy most of what I hear, however this is probably the 2nd worst album I have heard. _________________ She's dead, wrapped in plastic.

I love this album so much, by far my favorite of theirs. It doesn't have a single bad song on it. Some of the techniques that they used in making it are just incredible(watch the pitchfork documentey on it). The tracklisting that I listen to, based on the bands statements about how they wanted to realease it, is
Race for the prize
A spoonful weighs a ton
The spark that bled
The spiderbite song
Slow motion
Buggin(Mokran remix)
What is the light
The observer
Waitin for superman
Suddenly everything has changed
The gash
Feeling yourself disintegrate
Sleeping on the roof

??? This doesn't strike me as an album that easy to hate...
Personally, I think it's beautiful. _________________ Finnegan was super bad-ass.
