Not a problem— I still have 5 films on my to-watch list, and I'm not sure I'll be able to get around to more than 2 d'oh!

(ended up being oddly busy the last few months). Really hoping to at least get around to Doctor Zhivago. One of the biggest classics I've managed to somehow elude (even the novel).

And Olli— all of the Peanuts titles are technically TV specials, so they're eligible for the shorts list Smile

(I'll be posting my list for that category this weekend). As far as Occurrence at Owl Creek Bridge goes, it was originally released as a standalone short, so I don't see any reason why it wouldn't be eligible Smile

Films and shorts are combined (only shorts are holiday special cartoons) and I have quite a few movies to check out before the deadline, but figured I'd post in case I'm not able to get around to it.

Really enjoying all the French and Italian movies I've been delving into for this poll. Hell, more than half my top 10 is now French. I also may want to revisit 2001 and 8 1/2. I remember being immensely disappointed by both, but my expectations for both were very high. It's been a while since I've seen either and I do remember both being technically impressive.

Revisit 8 1/2 when you get a chance (I mean, it's still on your list, but)— a peculiar bit of magic in how it gets better the older you get.
2am / barely-holding-it-together theatre in old-world Italy / bottle of €4 wine / raining
Really is a magical bit of cinema.
