There's a band called "Dark Mode," but so far they've only released a single...

The profile page still only has the one skin available ("softmetal"), but there are ways to locally override the CSS for just about any website (including phpBB forums) by either downloading and editing the stylesheet.css directly in a text editor, or using third-party tools like "Magic CSS" to do it. Of course, anyone who'd gone to that much trouble would presumably remember having done it, so that's probably not what's going on here.

I suspect what's going on here has more to do with the fact that ibb.co is a notorious spam redirection site that has, at various times, been flagged as a malware distributor. There's even a Youtube video for how to remove one of it's viruses (though it won't play in an iFrame, you have to go to Youtube itself). So it's probably just as well that the links don't work.

Apologies, a site update was rolled out yesterday containing some minor changes. One of those changes was the beginnings of a 'dark mode'. I hadn't realised the dark mode was visible - thought I was the only person that could see it as I'm still testing it It's not ready for release yet, so I've hidden it again until it's working... (lots to do still to make it right)
