Now THATS what I'm talking about
AMAZING album. Pure genius. #3 on my chart. With the epic Shine On set, with the beautiful ballad of Wish You Were Here (which I'm currently recording for my album, it's almost done ), with Welcome to The Machine, another brilliant song.
Fantastic album, Floyds best (arguable...but, IMO in it )

I've tried. Over and over again. I probably just don't understand, but I really don't like this.

Eh. It's alright. The drums are awfully boring and the synths are awfully awful. On the other hand, Wish You Were Here is one of the band's most beautiful, heartfelt songs, with some of the best lyrics Waters has ever penned, and I love that four-note guitar motif that introduces the album.

The second best album by Pink Floyd (after the ultimate masterpiece of the band: The Wall).
i'm not a huge fan, but there's a constant quality minute after minute in this album that is undeniable.
70/100 (with an option for going higher).
