... from the dilema of the music questions I had. I found it by writing my own little reviews of albums. They're not like reviews that would get published but streams of thought and my own interpretations.
To begin with I was not going to use terms like 'post punk', 'indie', 'indie rock', 'alternative' etc. Things that get thrown in a lot these days which can have multiple meanings and refer to many types of sound. But then I thought "Hey, why not get rid of punk, rock and pop too"? And so I did. Wherever possible... a genre may of got passed the radar somewhere. I tended to use 'Punk' as a biased badge of honor when I first started so I had to remove it altogether. Anyway, I would probably get critized for this. I'll carry on nonetheless. With or without them it is still dancing about architecture so to speak.
So it is my experiment. Put all I have listened to so far onto paper and here. See how things go. Who knows, some people may actually like them
Your review of "Tragic Kingdom" is excellent, and now I'm going to look for the other ones.
Thanks for the interest
I think I am on a roll now as I have 20+ done already and am posting them one by one. Feel free to critize as I may be treading all over the art of reviewing (or doing it wrong )
Spell checking one for The Divine Comedy - Regenration right now.
